Although the temps were unseasonably cold (hats, jackets and mittens were spotted) for the middle of July, many cool and fun things took place. Here are a few of the many, many highlights!
Chef Chad Minor wowed visiters to the EcoSquared Fair with delicious fresh food options made per order. Yum!
Two of the delectible options: falafel and hummus.
This cutie is showing off her newly made "I Spy" bottle and is wearing a pair of egg carton glasses she crafted. These were just two of the many make and take activities for both kids and adults.
Showing off the sock puppets they just finished making!
Rosemary Haack shared her knowledge and experience with natural dyes. Very interesting stuff! Did you know natural fibers can be dyes with barks, flowers and even Kool-Aid?
Look for info. about the 2010 EcoSquared and Cass Co. Fairs starting early in 2010. Also - next year's fair will return to a 4 day fair. More time to take in all the fun!! See you then!
